• Her hair was going grey.
• The grass had turned brown.

Note that in American English, go is rarely used like this.
If you want to say that a person\'s face suddenly changes colour, you use go or turn. For example, you say that someone goes or turn pale(苍白的).

• Ralph went crimson.
• He turned bright red.
• I went white. I just felt numb. I just couldn\'t believe it.

Note that you do not say that someone \'gets pale\' or \'becomes pale\'.
