“我有事”的英文表达


如果将“我有事”直译成 "I have things"，那就是中式英语了 。因为我们平常所说的“我有事”，指的是“我有事情去做” ，所以才要婉拒对方。
“我有事”的正确英文表达是 "I have things to do."，这是偏正式的说法。
还有一个说法比较口语化，也很常用： "I\'ve got stuff(to do)."
例句：
"I have things to do. Let\'s call it a day."
我有点事情，今天就到这儿吧 。
"I\'ve got stuff to do, so I can\'t hang out with you today."

“手头有很多事情要做”的英文表达


"手头有很多事要做" 可以说“I have a lot of things to do.”
另外有一个更口语化的表达"have（get） one\'s hands full "，指非常忙；手头有很多事要做。
例句：
He can\'t help today because he has his hands full. He has to go shopping, pick his children up from school and then cook dinner.
他今天帮不了忙，因为他很忙，得去购物、接孩子，然后做晚饭 。
Could I talk to you later? I\'ve got my hands full right now.
我能晚点跟你说吗？我现在手头有好多事儿 。

别人对你说 "I have a thing for you"，不要以为是“有东西要给你”？而是他/她对你“有好感；有点意思” 。
例句：
He has a thing for you.
