【关于性教育的英语作文】From the graph, we know the statistics of the Continuing Education participation and the increasing numbers of the participants in X city. In 1989 there were only thirty people taking part in the Continuing Education, but in 1994 the number has grown to eighty?our thousand people, and in 1999, a hundred and sixteen thousand, and in 2004, the number of Continuing Education participation reached its top: a hundred and seventy thousand. It can be seen easily that there are more and more people who hope to get advanced degrees and gain more knowledge after they began to work.
There are many reasons responsible for the great change, and the following are the typical ones. For one thing, during the work people begin to realize what they have learned before is far from enough. They know what kind of knowledge they need. In addition, as the science and technology in China are developing so fast, adults after graduation have to go back to universities to refresh themselves and improve their competitive ability in society. The main reason is the population growth that affects people? promotion chances. Many people without Bachelor have been laid off. Therefore, such competitive social background stimulates many people to continue to study.
